Tropical storm threatens the Tsunami-hit Japan now
It is moving north-northeast at 17 kph and is expected to be 330 km northeast of Basco, Batanes; and 645 km northeast of Basco, Batanes or 130 km west-southwest of Okinawa, Japan.

Tropical storm Aere will become an extra-tropical storm during the next 24 hours. It has now weakened into a tropical depression. Chances of intensification not likely. It will move along the Japanese coast from Thursday till Friday, causing moderate heavy rainfall with winds up to 35 mph gusting to 40 mph. Not a significant storm now.

TC will move along the coast of Japan with heavy rainfall and strong winds of 50 mph, Sea is going to be very rough to extremely rough along the Japanese coast during the next 2 to 3 days. It could intensify during this time period.

Philippines bleeds as Aere leaves death and destruction
Tropical storm Aere has brought massive death and destruction to the Sur province of Philippines with widespread flooding and landslides. At least 22 people are dead in that country. Tropical storm Aere is also being called Bebeng in Philippines, as any storm that enters their territory is given a separate name by Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA). TC Aere is the strongest storm in the Western Pacific ocean up till now, though they will be more destructive and highly powerful storm during the middle and end of the year. The strongest winds of Aere were 60 mph. On average, 27 storms form in this basin every year.
