  •  This article is written by Waseem Ahmed for PWP from Karachi city, Sindh, Pakistan

Rains in Karachi ‘during the month of June’ is not a regular feature but during past 20 years or so, in every 2 to 3 years Karachi had some rainfall mostly due to Tropical development (Tropical Cyclone/Storm, Depression or Low) or Pre-Monsoon moisture.

The wettest June in Karachi was definitely in 2007 when its last week was a ‘Tropical Rainy Week’ for Karachiites.
