Middle East experienced the weather of Europe

Roads all white, snow falling on the ground! Wait, rub your eyes to find whether you are having a dream or it is really happening. This is what might have had happen to you if you were living in Cairo , a city that experiences snow once or twice a century. Snow pellets occurred in Cairo after 112 years.
Egyptian snow fools many!
As the snow-hit view of Cairo hit the Social Media, many people started posting fake picture of snow. Following are some of the pictures that fooled the world;

And the picture that went viral;

So don’t believe everything on the internet!
Nature! this is not Europe
Politically changed Middle-East witnessed another change in 2013 as the year was coming to an end. Countries like Jordan, Turkey, Cyprus, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine and Egypt experienced a monstrous winter storm dubbed ‘Alexa’ by the local media that brought blizzard and torrential rains.
On December 13, 60 inches of snow had fallen in the Israeli city of Jerusalem where the Israeli Prime Minister called the unexpected event as ‘once in a century storm’, it was the heaviest snowfall in 60 years. Other parts of Israel too experienced fierce snowstorm. You might have heard that the Arab Kings consider themselves the purist of all and everyone not having their blood is below them well that was not the case in Jordan. In the city of Amman, the King helped the people in pushing a car that was stuck in the snow.
War-torn Syria had to experience the biggest difficulty as most people are living in the open with no shelter, unconfirmed reports suggest that 100 cm snow fell in the southern parts of the country.
Superb article. Impressive as you brought reality of fake pictures which are circulating
Thank you very much.
In fact, no snow fell in Cairo. It was mostly just small hail painting the city white similar to what happened in Lahore a couple of years ago.
