Brief History of Rains during SEPTEMBER in Karachi:

Rain in Karachi ‘during the month of September’ is not a routine view for the people but during last 20 years or so there have been few years in which Karachi had some good rainfall due to Late Monsoon systems and especially in last 2 years Karachi receiving rain regularly during this month.

The wettest September in Karachi was definitely during last year 2011 when most of the city received over 200 mm of rain and other  one 1994 when about 95 mm rain fell in its first 5 days
