Thundercloud forming over upper Sindh.
The Dust Cloud today has moved westward, back to the Pakistan-India border, and fortunately there is a strong bit of moisture moving northward along the edge of the Cloud, which should produce some rain over the next days.
If the Dust Cloud was managed, with native vegetation covering the land, to keep the soil from becoming airborne, then a city like Karachi, instead of hoping for millimeters of rainfall each week from May to October, should expect centimeters each week during that time.
Without the Dust Cloud, Karachi should be getting at least an average of 3 cm. a week, every week between May 1 and October 1 each year.
